COMING home to loving relationships
Joshua Van Asha
Josh has studied philosophy, theology and spirituality for the past 10 years and found that the knowledge he acquired did not have a tangible impact upon his life. During his Breathwork training Josh uncovered something vitally important. He came to realise that all wisdom teachings had their practical application within the relationships that we create.
Since becoming a qualified Breathwork Practitioner in 2016 Josh has developed and taught Relationship Mastery: the simple framework of love. It is through utilising the powerful integrative force of Breathwork and combining this with the study of Relationship Mastery that Josh facilitates the experience of loving relationships. Through personal practice and professional application Josh has come to recognise that there is nothing more transformative than the relationships which we create with one another.

Synopsis
We have come to know the intricacies that facilitate our understanding of mathematics, geography, economics and chemistry. As a society we are able to dive to the deepest parts of our ocean and travel out beyond the boundaries of our solar system; yet it has been said that the relationships which we form with one another are the most complicated thing that our brains can do.
Our brains are like clay, they are malleable. They mould into whatever is most efficient for what we choose to focus them upon. It is our focus on external goals that has created the current/complicated experience of our brains, our relationships and our life.
There is a consciousness developing which sees our planet as a single organism and recognises that an organism at war with itself is doomed. We have entered an age where our relationships will determine the course of our society. It is up to each and every one of us to come into loving relationship with ourself, our community, our planet and our life if we are to bloom into the beautiful civilisation that we were always meant to be.

lotus birth
Shivan Rachana Evans
Lotus Birth is the practice of leaving the umbilical cord uncut, so that the baby remains attached to the placenta until the cord naturally separates at the navel, exactly as a cut cord does 3-10 days after birth.
Lotus Birth is part of the continuum in the development and unfolding of the human organism. Lotus Birth is also part of the continuum of awakening consciousness expressing itself via the birth process.
"We need to relearn what a birth can be like when it is not disturbed by the cultural milieu. We need a reference point from which we should try not to deviate too much. Lotus Birth is such a reference point." Michel Odent
Lotus Birth is a call to pay attention to the natural physiological process. It's practice, through witnessing, restores faith in the natural order. Lotus Birth extends the birth time into the sacred days that follow and enables baby, mother and father and all family members to pause, reflect and engage in nature's conduct. Lotus birth is a call to return to the rhythms of nature, to witness the natural order and to the experience of not doing, just being.

'Health Through Nutrition': Connect with Nature, with breathing to Nurture
Veronica Pasfield
Veronica is a Breathwork practitioner of 18 years and a Health & healing researcher of the past 10 years.
Veronica had a major health issue present in 2008 and just didn’t want to deny all she had learned about healing naturally since her breathwork training in 2000, so she did some research and personal experiments.
It’s taken 10 years and she can now say she has done it, she has healed 2 major health conditions and she is delighted with the results.
Veronica feels it is time to share what she has learned so others can confidently set out on their own healing journey.

All of us in Breathwork know that healing is a process. We accept the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of self have to be addressed. There’s one aspect every person lives with every day and it impacts health enormously. Food Choices
We know a little bit about it.
We have an idea of what’s healthy and what’s not
We often ignore our intuition and choose non healthy options anyway.
We get sick, anything from mild to serious, and wonder why?
I’ve been on a health journey for 10 years now
I fell into ALL the category I refer to above – especially knowing what’s not healthy and consuming it anyway
Then came the diagnosis that really put me in a tail spin.
Fortunately for me, my tail spun in the direction of finding more information and what I’ve learned has opened my eyes in a similar fashion to Breathwork opening my eyes to a whole new way of being in the world.
For me it’s crucial information. People talk about wanting to be healthy.
The question becomes: Are you willing to do what it takes?
At the 2018 conference I’ll share what I’ve learned and you can decide:

The energetic body and energetic sensitivity
Cindy Aulby
Cindy has been working as a professional Breathwork Therapist in Hobart for twenty years, and training practitioners for 2 years. Her work has included regular group work in the form of Circles and retreats, individual and couples sessions, and because of working in the same small city for decades, a very blessed relationship with the community.
Early in my practice her recognised that many of us who struggle with being human also have particularly high levels of energetic sensitivity – that is we sense a lot of information through our energetic bodies. Our cultural understanding of who and what we are doesn’t really understand that we are energy, that we feel and sense energy, and that some of us are more sensitive to it than others.
Understanding energetic sensitivity offers a valuable tool for the practitioner toolbox, enhancing clients’ ability to know themselves and to care for self and others.

Synopsis
My practice has shown me the healing power of understanding and teaching that we do receive energetic information from others. Because the physical body experiences such information through the same channels as our own feelings, it can feel like we have a chaotic and unpredictable feeling life, and we can’t possibly fathom it. We tend to think of our own experience as normal and the same for everyone.
Without the concept of experiencing other’s feelings as if they are our own, it can be difficult to know what’s ours to process and what it someone else’s material. It can also create trouble navigating relationships until we understand that not everyone senses the same amount of information – we all have different levels of sensitivity.
When sensitives learn how to care for ourselves and have the understanding to enable us to explain our experiences to ourselves and to others, we not only have a vastly increased self awareness, we also have less conflict with self, with others and with the environments we live and work in.
We can learn to channel our sensitivities to be in service to ourselves and to others, rather than be at the mercy of too much information, too often.

Listening to my body’s wisdom: Breathwork and Body Image
Louise Wigg
Synopsis
“I feel fat” is a commonly described way of feeling in today’s society. There’s one small problem, ‘fat’ is not a feeling, so what am I feeling in my body when I feel fat?
Research shows that fifty percent of 6-12 year old girls report preferring to be thinner, increasing to seventy percent during adolescence.(3) In another study, over half teenage girls and one third of teenage boys use unhealthy weight control behaviours. (4) Sadly, for many, once established poor body image is carried through to adulthood. (5)
Our bodies talk to us all the time! They tell us when we’re hungry, what and how to eat, ways we’d like to move and how we feel about life. Feeling unhappy with the way we look can lead us to disconnect from our bodies and ourselves and we can stop trusting these signals, including appetite and ways of moving.
In this session we’ll discuss the benefits of using Breathwork with women who have experienced poor body image to reconnect with our true selves by understanding and trusting the sensations and feelings in our bodies, buying out of the ‘body focused’ culture and celebrating our bodies’ stories.
