Many of you will know Robyn Fernance - she was originally a member of Australian Institute of Rebirthing in 1986; joined Australian Association for Professional Rebirthers in 1999 and became its first membership officer, as well as taking on the Treasury of AAPR in 2001.
In 2000 the ABA was born and Robyn holds membership number 008-2000. For many of those years since has been in very loving and committed service to the Association on the committee. She spent many many years as Treasurer and Membership officer.Robyn has recently 'retired' from being on the ABA committee for a very welcome look at what life looks like beyond the ABA!! She is still a beloved member, and is generously available to support the current committee whilst we continue to learn the ropes. Robyn was not present at the Breathe Australia Conference for us to acknowledge her and give her a gift of our appreciation. So a week before Christmas, we presented the gift of a card "signed" by many of the members and a beautiful gift of a dwarf mandarin fruit tree that has been grafted onto flying dragon rootstock. Robyn is a Breathwork Trainer and metaphysician so she got a get a kick out of that metaphysically. “The Dragon is the symbol of primordial power. It is master of all elements: fire, water, air and earth. As a spirit guide, it makes a powerful ally in our daily life with its amazing restorative and potent qualities.” As her gift was presented to her the sky opened up and the tree was nurtured from the summer rain. Robyn is a keen gardener and her suburban garden is full of food bearing trees and vegetables. The ABA loves Robyn and are looking forward to an non committee member relationship with her in coming years. This little gem came from the September newsletter of published by the International Breathwork Foundation.
Linking GIC 2017 and 2018 - presenting the results of an experiment measuring the effect of breathwork sessions on our vibrational frequency, conducted at GIC 2017. Dear friends, Coming back from the GIC in France, reviewing my notes, I came across the few words I wrote down from Judith Kravitz's talk. Joy = Light + Love. And I started to hear words pouring into my head, so I decided to put them down on paper and offer them to you. I would not consider myself a joyous person based on the meaning of what joy means for many people: laughing, smiling generously, being extrovert and spreading this joy all around you in this way. My joy is more silent. It is a state I feel inside my body as an expansion in my heart, very much mixed with love and gratitude. For me, joy is one of the natural consequences of being aligned with the divine in us, with our true essence, our true Self. Each of us is a shining sun. The way our light shines inside and outside determines our vibration. Even if sometimes clouds get in the way, the sun is always present. Our clouds are our limited beliefs, traumas, frozen emotions, fears, etc. Sometimes they have been there for so long, that we think that is the way we are. My personal experience is of course not. Our true nature is wellbeing; our true nature is to shine. Thank God, I came across breathwork before going to a psychiatrist J ! So looking at the formula: Joy = love + light. Because our true Self is love, and our true Self is light, when you expand one, you expand the others. It's all in the same pack. You cannot feel love in your heart and have a low vibrational frequency of light. So you can start with any side of the equation and get all the others lighting up as a consequence. Isn't that great?! Breathing is raising your vibration Your vibration is your personal energy frequency. It can be measured, and here below, I present you the outcome of a trial I did at the GIC in Austria in 2017, measuring the effect of a full breathing session on our vibration. Vibration emanates from your soul, your personal being, your thoughts and emotions, whether conscious or unconscious. How bright, light and clear is your light shining? How clear is your sky? The higher, the happier, in love and expansion you feel inside, then by the universal law of manifestation, you will attract a higher level of experiences and people into your life. The lower, the denser, both mentally and emotionally you feel…sadness, fear… will also make you susceptible to attracting people and situations that resonate to such a low frequency like a magnet: complaints, darkness, anxiety, etc… and also presences (lost souls for example) that usually are in pain wandering around in our world. My experience investigating this frequency for years in clients, and myself is that even if it fluctuates within a certain range, there is a mean vibrational frequency that is stable and reflects your personal and spiritual consciousness. If it goes down to a lower level, which can happen, you will immediately feel it as a drop in your natural wellbeing. If it happens don't stay there, it's NOT your natural state. Once you remove the disturbance from your field, mind and body, your being will automatically readjust to your natural light. And this can happen very quickly. Breathing is one way while energy balancing is another one of my favourite ways. How can we measure our vibration? Being a statistician, I have always liked to bring measurement to the energy work I do. For years, I have been measuring the vibration in myself and later in my clients, using the pendulum and numerical charts. (By the way, if you know more scientifically proved methods - contact me). So when, at the GIC 2017, I heard of the investigative research being conducted by the IBF science and research group (presented this year by Dr Philippa Wheble), I asked if I could join them, and I did (thank you my friends for this).
